The Hooka – 2 huge I-Beams Installed for a Stress Free Weekend!
The Hooka was set a ‘next level’ challenge by Cuffley Builder, Tarkan, who needed 2 huge Steel I-Beams installed for a stress free weekend! The steel beams needed to be towed into the property through a very tight access and then manoeuvred over the corner of the swimming pool, before being lifted up 500mm onto the pre-existing property’s floor.
The Hooka then climbed itself up into the building before lifting the heavy duty, 7.8 metre, 1300 kg RSJ ‘up and under’ the second storey’s structure. The second large Steel I-Beam had to follow the same restricted access route before also being installed safely and smoothly between its steel uprights by the Hooka machine. Job completed against the daylight clock.
